You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. Responsibilities:

Interviewing patients and document basic medical history.
Organizing and scheduling appointments into EMR (Athena).
Taking vitals as part of patient intake.
Assisting with basic office procedures, injections.
Ensure that all instruments are processed and labeled correctly.
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
Accurately complete requisition forms and lab/imaging forms.
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.

Requirements:

Prior experience preferred however no experience warranted.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software, such as Athena is a plus.
